Hos Tøyen Unlimited kan barna prøve å sy og leke med fotografi! Sulekha Awed fra Awed Systue har med tekstiler fra somalia og viser barna hvordan man kan sy enkle håstrikker, scrunchies. Ildlfluene, lokale ungdommer fra Tøyen med lidenskap for film, foto og kunst, lar barna møte foto på en annen måte enn gjennom telefonen. Her kan man prøve å ta bilder i et enkelt fotostudio og redigere bildene digitalt eller manuelt ved hjelp av saks, lim og klistremerker. Tøyen Unlimited holder til på området som heter Dammen.
Denne aktiviteten passer best for barn i alderen 3-14 år.
With Tøyen Unlimited, children can try sewing and experimenting with photography! Sulekha Awed, who has a sewing studio in Grønland, is bringing Somali textiles and will show children how to sew simple hair scrunchies. “The Fireflies”, local young people from Tøyen with a passion for film, photography and art, introduce children to photography in a form other than through a phone. Children can take pictures in a simple photo studio and edit them digitally or manually using scissors, glue and stickers. Tøyen Unlimited is located in the Dammen area.
This activity is best suited to children aged three to fourteen.
Tøyen Unlimited
Tøyen Unlimited (TU) er en nabolagsinkubator hvor lokale ildsjeler fra Tøyen og Grønland får støtte til å utvikle innovative idéer som kan løse sosiale utfordringer gjennom sosialt entreprenørskap og lokal forankring. Organisasjonen drives med mål om å støtte folk i sine nabolag på veien fra å være ildsjel til å bli sosial entreprenør. Tøyen Unlimited støtter dem med blant annet nettverk, støttespilling en-til-en, arbeidsplasser og ulike stipend til å sette i gang en virksomhet. De tilbyr også kurs om sosialt entreprenørskap og systemendring.
Tøyen Unlimited is a neighbourhood incubator where local enthusiasts from Tøyen and Grønland receive support to develop innovative ideas that can solve social challenges through social entrepreneurship and local anchoring. The organisation’s goal is to support people in their neighbourhoods on the journey from enthusiast to social entrepreneur, providing networks, one‑to‑one mentoring, workspaces and various grants. They also offer courses on social entrepreneurship and systems change.
